Scar revision is particularly suitable for scars that are:
Usually resulting from trauma or injury rather than scars that have been made following surgery.
If you have a surgical scar, then it could be raised and lumpy and this is known as a keloid or hypertrophic scar. Keloid scars are difficult to treat and there is a risk of causing more keloid scarring if surgery is performed.
Scar revision can be performed on people of any age and is a good option for you if you:
Scars are always red to begin start with and then they fade over a period of 18-24 months by which time that are mature.
All scars take 6 to 12 months to mature and so you should not consider scar revision until your scar has fully matured. It may sound counter-intuitive to wait until your scar has fully settled before undergoing revision, but it it is important for it to have softened and settled fully before undergoing further surgery.
This depends on the size and shape of your scar. The vast majority of scar visions can be performed under a local anaesthetic

From my first meeting with Mr Sawyer for my consultation, I was so nervous - but he made me feel so comfortable and at ease almost instantly. He was very professional and explained all aspects of the procedure that I wanted. I saw Mr Sawyer a few times prior to making the decision that would have the best outcome for the look that I wanted to achieve.
